Why install a termite reticulation system before laying concrete?

Recently, we were contacted by a homeowner in Wishart, Brisbane, who was preparing to have new concrete laid alongside his house.

A termite reticulation system consists of specially designed piping installed in the soil alongside the foundations of a house.

It allows a liquid termite treatment to be distributed through the soil in areas that may later become difficult to access, such as beneath new concrete.

The main long-term advantage comes when the chemical treatment eventually needs to be renewed. Termidor can provide protection for up to eight years, so if you are still living in the home at that time, the system can be replenished without drilling numerous holes through the finished concrete.”
